About

WARM began in 1972 as a small church food pantry through of St. Paul the Apostle Church—born out of a desire to live out Christ’s command to love our neighbors. As

local churches and civic organizations joined together around a shared vision to end hunger in Westerville, WARM became a powerful expression of the body of Christ at work in our community. In 2001, WARM became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and has since been recognized by the Westerville Chamber of Commerce, the Central Ohio Better Business Bureau, and countless community partners as a trusted, mission-driven organization. Today, we serve from a 40,000-square-foot facility that allows us to meet both physical and spiritual needs. While food remains at the heart of what we do, our mission extends far beyond the pantry shelves. Through programs like Way2Work we walk alongside individuals and families as they move toward stability, self-sufficiency, and renewed hope. At WARM, we believe in offering a hand up, not a handout—sharing God’s love through action. Every meal distributed, every class taught, and every prayer offered is an opportunity to restore dignity, spark transformation, and remind our neighbors that they are seen, loved, and cared for. Our future is a Westerville community free of hunger where every person achieves their God-given potential.
