You may browse and search the directory for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may contact businesses listed on the Website through the contact information they have made publicly available.

You may NOT:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Website
• Use listing data for unsolicited commercial communications (spam)
• Copy, redistribute, or resell the directory content
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the Website
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
• Use the Website in any way that violates applicable laws
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Website

3. Business Listings

a) Information Accuracy

Business listings are compiled from publicly available sources. While we strive to maintain accurate information, we do NOT guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing. Business details (hours, services, pricing, contact info) may change without notice.

b) No Endorsement; No License Verification

Inclusion in the directory does NOT constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or certification by Columbus Tax. We do not verify the qualifications, licenses, or quality of services provided by listed businesses.

Listed professionals may be required to hold a state-issued tax preparer license, IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, Enrolled Agent (EA) credential, or attorney bar admission. Licensing requirements vary by jurisdiction. It is your sole responsibility to verify that any professional you engage holds the credentials required by your state and the type of services you need. Columbus Tax does not verify, and makes no representation regarding, the licensing status of any listed professional.

Rankings, search results, and listing order are determined algorithmically and do not reflect the quality, reliability, or suitability of any particular professional or business. A higher-ranked listing should not be interpreted as a recommendation.

c) Third-Party Websites

Listings may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party sites. Clicking on an external link is at your own risk.

d) Business Owners & Affected Individuals

If you are a business owner, a person mentioned in a listing, or an authorized representative, you may request updates, corrections, or removal at any time. As a matter of policy — not just legal obligation — we honor these requests without requiring a legal basis.

Submit requests via our Remove a Listing page. We process owner self-removals and personal-data requests within 7 business days; copyright and third-party legal notices within 5–30 days depending on the notice type. Email contact@columbustax.com with the business name and listing URL if you prefer.

4. Ratings and Reviews

Rating and review data displayed on listings is aggregated from public sources. Columbus Tax does not modify, filter, or create reviews. Ratings reflect publicly available information and are not a guarantee of service quality.

5. Intellectual Property

The Website design, layout, and original content are owned by Columbus Tax. Business names, logos, and related marks are property of their respective owners. The compilation and presentation of directory listing data on the Website is proprietary to Columbus Tax and may not be reproduced, distributed, or republished without our written permission.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

THE WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL COLUMBUS TAX BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR RELIANCE ON LISTING INFORMATION.

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of business information and for any decisions made based on directory listings. We recommend contacting businesses directly to confirm details before engaging their services.

7. Copyright and DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe that content on this Website infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent at contact@columbustax.com. Your notice must include:
