Signature Closers

Signature Closers was founded in May 2006 in Columbus Ohio by President, Mark Fleming Jr. initially as a single signing agent providing notary signing agent services in Central and Southwest Ohio. In early 2007, through referrals and other relationships, the Signature Closers Network was developed and the company expanded to provide services throughout the state of Ohio.

Beginning in 2008, clients with growing footprints allowed the company to expand regionally into the Midwest and Southeast. By 2011, Signature Closers was providing national coverage to title companies across the United States. At this point, the company adopted its motto of “People. Process. Technology.” to describe the focus areas, in order of priority, for the growing business. In October 2011, Signature Closers released Closing Manager in an effort to streamline the management of the closing process and provide a more efficient way to manage a larger volume of closings. Using lean principles, the focus was to create a consistent closing experience for all parties on each transaction and to identify outliers for extra attention and management. In August 2012, Adeptive and Signature Closers announced an integration that forever changed the way title companies managed their closing process. The integration provided an avenue for title companies to submit closing requests and documents directly to Closing Manager without ever leaving Resware™. This was the first integration in the country between Adeptive and a signing service or signing software provider and remains the most robust integration in this space today. Signature Closers has since been recognized as one of the nation’s fastest growing privately-held companies by placing on the prestigious Inc. 500/5000 list in 2014 (#140), 2015 (#398), 2016 (#1,891), 2017 (#3,970), and 2018 (#4,240). Central Ohio Business First’s “Fast 50” also recognized Signature Closers as the fastest growing privately-held company in Central Ohio in 2014 and among the “Fast 50” again in 2015.
