At Digitek Software, Inc., we recognized that we could serve our clients better by extending staff augmentation services to help them manage projects. Over the years, we have focused on attaining expertise in staff augmentation that has broadened over the course of time. In 1998, Digitek Software, Inc. set up the training and recruiting center in Bombay (Mumbai), India under the name Digitek Software. In the same year, we also set up an Offshore Development Center (ODC) in New Delhi to serve our US and Europe-based clients and manage high volumes of work. Today Digitek Software’s state-of-the-art software development center is equipped with strong offshore delivery infrastructure and managed by a dedicated team of some of the best IT professionals who have been hand-picked to match the client’s skill set and culture. In 1999, Digitek Software, Inc. identified the urgent need to serve the local government and private sector clients in India by offering complete turn-key project solutions, including hardware, networking, customized software development, implementation and support. For this purpose, Digitek Consulting Services, a consulting company was set up. Over the years, the company has gained immense experience in undertaking and executing a wide range of projects for various state governments like Government of Goa, Gujarat and Maharashtra, Indian Oil and also for reputed private sector clients such as Citibank, ABN AMRO bank and Otis across the country. Both Digitek Software, Inc and Digitek Consulting Services have been merged into Digitek Software Private Limited. Today Digitek has become the most preferred software solutions and service provider for pioneering a global delivery model that is transparent, flexible and seamless. Our onsite project managers work hand-in-hand with our clients to ensure the successful delivery of offsite and offshore projects. Digitek Software, Inc. has been officially incorporated in the state of Ohio, and since 2000, it has been recognized as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). It has also become Federal Government IT Services Provider under GSA Schedule. In 2001, Digitek Software, Inc. was approved as a vendor by the State of Ohio under the State Term Schedule (STS). Digitek owes its continued success to tireless work of one of its pioneers, Satyen Shah (1966-2002). For almost a decade, Shah helped establish many new avenues and technological frontiers for the company. More significantly, he actively encouraged every project manager of the company to take lead in managing the client relationship. He had a deep understanding and extensive professional experience in developing and delivering IT systems and solutions worldwide. Digitek remains grateful for his insight and leadership during the formative years of the company.
